Aromatic Cedar is commonly used to repel moths. It is often used in closets and chests it accepts finishes well. Aromatic Cedar is generally left unfinished. Finishing will hinder its aromatic properties. Easy to cut, but may tend to split easily when nailing. Straight grain with a fine texture. Knots and bark are common on the boards.
