Lyptus has mechanical properties similar to many hardwoods, and is most often compared to Maple due to its similar machining properties. Lyptus has a fast growth rate becasue it is a hybrid of two other types of Eucalyptus. It is plantation grown and managed to ensure high yeilds and better quality. Lyptus is used for countertops, cabinets, and flooring.
