    Pacific Coast Maple machines, nails, screws, glues, sands, stains or paints well. It has medium density, but is slightly harder than eastern soft maple. It has medium bending strength, shock resistance and stiffness. Pacific Coast Maple is used in making furniture, cabinets, doors, shutters, mouldings, and carvings.
