    Sapelle can be worked by hand and machine tools it saws and finishes easily. Sapele has good nailing and gluing properties, and it finishes well. It is used in making flooring, furniture, cabinetwork, decorative moldings, paneling, doors and windows. Sapelle is also used by Cadillac for interior wood trim on its vehicles.
