Random width Burmese Teak is available H&M (Hit and Missed Planed) or S2S (Surfaced 2 Sides). Sold by the board foot, you can find Teak from 4" - 11" wide and 6’ to 14' long. Teak is graded FEQ (First Export Quality) wich is simillar to SAB (Select and Better) or FAS (First and Second). It is available in the following size:

    Teak is one the most well rounded woods for exterior applications. Nailing and screwing requires pre-drilling. Glues well on fresh cuts, if the wood sits, a good tip is to wipe the joint that will be glued with acetone. Carbide blades and bits are recommended due to its medium resistance. Elephants are still being used extensively to extract Teak because of their low impact upon the environment.
