- 1" x 12" x 12" divided by 144 = 1 BF (inch tally) or 1" x 12" x 1' divided by 12 = 1 BF (foot tally)
Do I have to buy the whole board?
- No, if we make any cuts to a board, we need to be left with at least 6 lineal feet of the board. The only time you would need to purchase the full length, is when you are buying decking material, figured hardwoods and custom orders.
Do you sell partial sheets of plywood?
- At this time we only sell full sheets, however we can cut the sheets for transportation needs.
I have a tree in my yard, are you interested in buying it?
- Crosscut Hardwoods can not process freshly sawn green lumber. We order our stock from mills which have long term expertise in curing and sawing hardwoods.
Do you offer any sanding or planing services?
- Although we have our own mill off site, currently we do not offer this service for single boards. If you would like a custom quote, please call or email us today.
