Northern hardrock Maple’s faint grain definition and blond to light-brown hue makes it equally at home in classic or modern kitchen and bath design. These hardwood countertops have a durable semi gloss finish called Varnique that is virtually maintenance free. It is impervious to most household chemicals. Cleans up easily with mild soap and water. The fine furniture look makes it the choice for kitchen islands and eating counters. The finish is approved for food service use. These tops can be refinished using EZ-DO Poly Gel.
Stave widths will vary from top to top. There is a +/- 1/8" tolerance on all tops

Our in stock prefinished maple countertops are manufactured by John Boos. The finish is formulated to repel most household solvents. Stains can be cleaned off with finger nail polish remover or bleach, neither of these two substances can hurt the finish. Although the finish is durable, it will scratch and using the surface as a cutting board will degrade the finish. The maple blocks are solid all the way through, you can rest assured that the nicks, dings and dents that life puts into the block can be repaired with simple techniques. This assures you that the appearance of your countertop can be maintained for years to come.
